Shoulder Patches and Collector Pins

Shoulder Patches & Collector Pins

I want to get a UHP shoulder patch for a collection. Can I do that?

The Utah Highway Patrol does have a new shoulder patch with a card that explains the meaning behind the beehive symbol as well as a brief history of UHP that we send out to members of the public.  We ask they agree to display it with the dignity and honor due to all who have borne the title of Utah State Trooper and sacrificed so much in defending the Constitutional rights of our citizens.

The cost for the patch is $2.50, payable by check or money order made out to the Utah Highway Patrol.  Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept cash or credit card payment.  Please remit payment to the below listed and I will be happy to send you UHP patch for your collection.  Please include your mailing address with the request.

Impersonating a police officer is a criminal offense punishable by law.  The patch may only be displayed as part of a private collection and may not be worn or displayed on any piece of clothing.

Does the Utah Highway Patrol or the Department of Public Safety have collector pins?

Periodically, the UHP and DPS produces unique collector pins that can be purchased by the public. You can check on availability and cost by calling UHP headquarters at (801) 965-4518, during business hours.
