Trooper Wahlberg and Unknown Trooper

“In the last 3 months we’ve had a couple of experiences with UHP. First my son was in a minor accident. He was so upset with himself and disparaged over the accident. When I arrived, my son obviously needed some consoling and time. The Trooper was patient, kind and worked to calm him down. He pulled me aside and was concerned about helping our son, he just wanted to make sure he had some support. The Trooper was excellent and professional as well as compassionate. Last night, I was pulled over by UHP for an expired registration. The Trooper was equally kind and professional and immediately put me at ease. I don’t know her name, but her badge ID was 459. She gave me a citation but explained the reasoning and what I needed to do to get it registered again. Getting pulled over can be nerve racking, but this Trooper made the whole experience much easier to deal with. Both Troopers were excellent.” – J. Nelson

“I wanted to express my gratitude to the patrolman who helped my family and me out when our tire blew on the highway between Salt Lake and Bountiful. I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name and I didn’t get to thank him properly. He was very kind and helpful and helped us get back out Into traffic during rush hour. I’m very grateful he stopped to help and wanted to make an effort to thank him. I’m glad the State of Utah has such high quality people serving in law enforcement.”
