Section Two of the Utah Highway Patrol is within Bureau One and is located at 461 Stewart Street in the Business Depot in Ogden. The boundary of Section Two consists of both Weber and Morgan Counties. Within those two counties we patrol approximately 50 miles of interstate which includes both Interstate 15 and Interstate 84. There are also an estimated 40 miles of state roads that our troopers are designated as the primary responding units. Section Two is unique in that we have both urban, with Ogden City one of the largest cities in Utah and rural, Morgan County within our section. Each of these areas present both different and challenging aspects of law enforcement when dealing with the motoring public. The troopers in Section Two can find themselves dispatched to a multi vehicle accident right in the middle of I-15 during rush hour to a single vehicle crash up on the top of Big Mountain on SR-65 where at times it takes a wrecker an hour to respond.
